Thank you Bright Water Pony Club members Caleb And Annice who designed the course, and those who helped set up. Good bye to Buster, a treasured partner

We had to say goodbye in January to one of our most treasured partners. He came to us as an unstarted youngster. Through the years he was Samara's first horse, h...e was 3rd at the OHTA Champs , a PPG competitor, a valued member of the Canadian Pony Club National Rally team, a member of the winning Australian Inter Pacific Exchange team, several time WOR Regional Dressage Champion and Reserve Champion, multiple SOCTA CT and HT year end Champion . Throughout his life, Buster brought joy and love to all who knew him. We called him Almost Perfect, although in reality he was perfect. Godspeed my friend till we meet again.

Medieval Times and Toronto Mounted Police

On January 14th our group traveled to Toronto for a fun and educational day. We attended a tour at the Toronto Mounted Police Facility. We learned what goes into the training of these amazing police horses and officers. The dedication theses of officers have to their partners is inspiring. As well, the bravery displaced by the horses is amazing.
We also took in a show at Medieval Times. What fun it was to enjoy a theater show that actually involved horses!
On to our next adventure...

Our first Frosty Friday

Our first Frosty Friday was a great success. Thank you to all who participated and helped out. The best part of the evening was seeing the smiling confident faces that a no stirrup jumping round produced!
With a little break over the holiday season, our next event will be January 27th. This will be a Gamblers Choice Relay. So start planning your teams now.
